Instructions for accessing these web-based courses:

If you enrolled late, it may take a few days for your account to be created.
If you are a student, your WebCT ID has been changed to match your campus user ID. Your password remains the same. Please login with your new WebCT ID to access WebCT. If you have any difficulties, please contact us at webct@uta.edu.

Username and Password Formats

Your UserID will follow the format of fmlnnnn, where fml is your first, middle, and last initials, and nnnn is the last four digits of your UTA student ID. In the event that you do not have a middlename or did not provide the registrar with one, your middle initial will be assigned to x.

The password format is a combination of birth date (mmddyy), and the first two digits of your student ID number, which is often your social security number. Example: the default password for a student with a birth date of Feb 9, 1964 and ID number of 123-45-6789 would be 02096412.

Go to the following web address:
http://webct.uta.edu/webct/public/show_courses.pl
Scroll down and click on School of Education
This will bring up a screen which lists all of the Education classes that are on WebCT.
Click on the class you are enrolled in. You will be selecting either Foundations for Integrating Technology into Education or Internet for Educators (for those of you in EDTC 5302).
Use the above format for your userid and password.
