6th Annual Research Day Call for Proposals

 

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies invites its students to attend and share their new, ongoing, or completed empirical research at the annual Research Day. This event will take place at the University of Texas at Arlington on Saturday, March 3, 2018. The program committee invites proposals in one of three formats:

 

  • Formal Presentations: participants share findings of completed work, including problem, theory, research questions, methods, findings, and implications (10-12 minutes)
  • Poster Presentations: participants share findings of completed work as stated above, but will utilize a more visual format (printing available in the Central Library)
  • Round Tables: 2-4 participants with a common area of interest discuss new or ongoing research in a group setting

 

Possible themes include (but are not limited to): 

  • Law and Policy
  • Leadership and Administration
  • K16 Issues
  • Institutional Assessment
  • Student Affairs
  • 21st C. Teaching and Learning
  • Social and Cultural Issues
  • Big Data

The deadline for proposal submission is December 15, 2017. Please use the submission portal to submit your abstracts. Abstracts should be no more than 200 words. The program committee will send out notifications of acceptance by early February.

 

Once you submit your proposal, make sure to register for the event as well.
