2. Academic program (if teacher certification, your grade level & subject
you will teach)
3. 10 digit ID number (listed on  the bottom of your admission letter)
4. Daytime phone number
5. E-mail address
6. The date you wish to attend orientation

New Student Orientation

Fall 2008

 

Who:      Newly admitted and Re-admitted Certification and Degree Seeking students in the College of Education Graduate Programs. 

What:   Mandatory orientation session covering the basics of academic advising, course clearance, program requirements, and graduate services. Orientation attendance is required prior to Summer 2008 registration.

Where:  Orientation Sessions will be held in Life Science Room 124 OR College Hall Room 101. SEE MAP BELOW

When & For how Long:   See Schedule below. Orientation Sessions will last approximately 1.5 hours. 

*Punctuality is imperative to receiving the information needed for clearance to register and enrollment your first semester.

Please reserve your seat for one of the following sessions:

~ Saturday, June 28, 2008:  10:00 am LS 124 (Visitors may park in student lots after 5 pm on Friday & all day Saturday & Sunday

~ Thursday, July 24, 2008:  5:30—7:00 pm CH 101

~ Thursday, August 14, 2008:  5:30—7:00 pm CH 101                                                                            

Public Parking is very limited and is shown in purple. The parking garage (fee) is one of the better options. There are also Parking Meters on Nedderman Drive on the other side of Cooper Street (in front of Davis Hall). Parking lots requiring a permit are open to all on the weekends starting at 5 p.m. on Friday.
