Information Sessions

What is
it and why should I attend?:
Teacher Information
sessions will provide interested individuals with the information they
need in order to decide if they are ready to pursue a teaching career.
The session will address areas of certification, Texas requirements in
relationship to certification and program prerequisites among other
things. An effort will be made to help individuals decide if a Master of
Education or a Teacher Certificate program is best for them and to
address individual concerns regarding certification programs.
Who
should come?:
Anyone who wants a
Texas teaching certificate and/or a master's degree and has at least a
bachelor's degree.
When &
where is the meeting?:
Orientation Sessions will be held in College Hall Room 101. SEE
MAP & SCHEDULE BELOW
How
long is the session?:
Orientation Sessions will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Public Parking is very limited and is
marked in purple. The parking garage (fee) is one of the better
options. There are also Parking Meters on Nedderman Drive on the
other side of Cooper Street (in front of Davis Hall). Student
parking lots are open to all on the weekends starting at 5 p.m.
on Friday. |
