Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistant Responsibilities

Assistantships involve both research and teaching responsibilities in order to provide the graduate student with exceptional training in both areas. Faculty research areas include hyperbarics, effect of exercise on mood, sports supplements, cardiovascular responses associated with resistance training, body composition, and bone density. The Master of Science program operates from the new 10,000 sq ft Exercise Science Research Laboratories suite. This space includes body composition, two cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular/biomechanics, athletic training, adapted, blood, metabolic, and data analysis laboratories.
