Aaron Kuntz, associate professor of Educational Studies at the University of Alabama, offers a unique perspective on the question of methodological responsibility in contemporary education at the Mike Moses K-16 Leadership Speaker Series. The College of Education and Health Professions hosts the event at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in the sixth floor atrium of the Central Library.
As an engaged and collaborative scholar, Dr. Kuntz develops inquiry projects in local, national and international arenas alongside professional colleagues, teachers and community activists. His research interests include critical qualitative inquiry, academic activism and citizenship, critical geography, and philosophy of education.
The K-16 Leadership Speaker Series is named for Mike Moses, a prominent Texas educator who served as superintendent of the Dallas school district, deputy chancellor for systems operations at the Texas Tech University System, and commissioner of education for the state of Texas.
The lecture is free and open to the public. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
