The 2016 College of Education Career Day, which was held Monday, April 11th, was a great success, with many student attendees being offered letters of intent on site. 158 students attended the Career fair and 58 school districts, private schools, and charter schools were present. The annual Career Day was supported by many UTA faculty and staff who made sure that this was a wonderful event for COEd students.
Recruiters who attended were quick to point out to event coordinators that they loved our students! They mentioned that our students were well prepared to answer interviewer questions, well qualified for the positions they sought, and confident in their abilities as prospective teachers. Above all, students from the College of Education were professionals. The College of Education considers this year's Career Day to have been the best Career Day yet!
