New Faces at COEd: Dr. Daniel Robinson

dan robinsonThe College of Education is excited to welcome Dr. Daniel Robinson to UTA as COEd’s new Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Robinson joined the college over the summer and hit the ground running.

Dr. Robinson comes to us from UT Austin, where he served as the Director of Research and Measurement of Project 2021. A nationally known expert and scholar in educational psychology, he previously served on the faculty at UT Austin, Colorado State University, the University of Louisville, the University of South Dakota, and Mississippi State University. Dr. Robinson was twice selected as a Fulbright Scholar, to the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland and to Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

Dr. Robinson lives an active lifestyle centered around his family, and he brings the same engaged approach to his relationship with the College of Education community.
