National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. NCATE is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and numerous national organizations as the accrediting body for universities that prepare teachers and other professional personnel for work in P-12 schools. NCATE ensures that accredited institutions hold high standards and produce competent, caring, and highly qualified educators and administrators who have proven they can support the learning of all students. Partnerships

National Network for Educational Renewal (NNER). A network of 23 institutions in 20 states committed to improving simultaneously the quality of education for citizens of our democracy and the quality of preparation of educators for our schools through Institution of Higher Education/Local Education Agency (IHE/LEA) partnerships.

The Holmes Partnership. A national network of universities, schools, community agencies and national professional organizations working in partnership to create high quality professional development and significant school renewal to improve teaching and learning for all children.
