Cumulatively, the grants the College received have enabled faculty and students to do work that dramatically impacts different ethnic groups, various age demographics, and diverse constituents—from children with developmental delays to astronauts.
Faculty and students in the College of Education are very active in conducting, publishing, and presenting research in their fields. Here at the college, we also have several important centers that focus on the pressing educational topics of the day, including healthy living and longevity, educational policy research, and ESL education.
The Strategic Plan of the College of Education strives to enhance UTA's research and discovery, scholarly and creative capacity and reputation by:
- Promoting the pursuit of grant applications to prestigious national and international funding agencies.
- Developing high priority and impactful research and creative areas of excellence at both the University level and within individual departments of the College.
- Creating and expanding graduate programs.
