Membership Requirements and How to Apply

Undergraduate students

• Cumulative GPA (from all colleges/universities attended) of 3.0 or above
• UT Arlington GPA of 3.0 or above
• Unconditionally admitted to the College of Education

Graduate students

• UT Arlington GPA of 3.25 or above (includes only graduate coursework)
• Completed at least 12 hours of graduate Education courses by the end of the semester in which you apply

All of the above is subject to verification.

To apply for membership, applicants must submit:

1. an application, which may be picked up in 501 Carlisle Hall; and
2. Initiate dues.* We prefer payment in the form of a check or money order made out to ‘Kappa Delta Pi.’

*You have the option of paying $48.00 for 1 year of active membership or $90.00 for 2 years of active membership.

 You are a lifetime member of Kappa Delta Pi, but in order to maintain active status you must pay annual dues. The above Initiate dues
 cover the cost for either your first year or first two years. This is only time you pay your dues directly to our chapter. Every time your
 active membership is about to expire, Kappa Delta Pi Headquarters will contact you directly with the option of renewing your membership.

Application Information for the Current Semester

The Fall 2008 application deadline has passed. We will be accepting Spring 2009 applications during the month of February.
