Listserv message from October 2, 2008: "New Advising System"

Attention Students:

To better serve you and establish a better advisor/advisee relationship, we are going to assigned advisors.  Below you will
see the breakup of last names.  From this point, when you e-mail or schedule an appointment, please do so with the
appropriate advisor.

If you have been meeting with an advisor that is not assigned to you and you do not want to change, then it is ok to stay
with that advisor.  We are hoping this change will decrease the confusion in whom you should see or email questions to.
