Listserv message from October 2, 2008: "Clearance and Registration Clarification"

Certification students,

We have received many questions regarding the timeline for Spring 2009 clearance and registration. Please read below for clarification.

• October 6 is the date spring advising begins. On this date your advising hold will be placed in your Student Center in MyMav
  and you can request clearance to register from your advisor.
• October 27 is the date spring registration begins. This is when students can actually begin registering for classes. Your
  individual registration date is posted in your Student Center under ‘Enrollment Dates’.
• The reason there are several weeks in between is to allow plenty of time for students to seek advising before registration begins.

We will be sending out information on October 6 concerning how you can request Spring 2009 clearance.
