Positioned within a 60-mile radius of more than 180 independent school districts with a combined student population approaching 1 million, the College of Education and Health Professions has continued to influence a significant, growing community. In the 2011-2012 academic year, we provided an estimated $63 million worth of economic benefits and services to local, state, and national communities. The estimated impact was calculated based on the college's contributions to local and national communities in three broad areas: investment, innovation, and service.
In 2011-2012, the College of Education and Health Professions enabled its bachelor’s degree recipients to collectively earn more than $19 million. This figure also represents a collective $6 million increase over what these individuals might have earned with some college but no degree.
