The College of Education and Health Professions has a rich history of excellence in preparing tomorrow’s teachers and administrators. Our students are driven by the desire to help shape the next generation into thoughtful, productive learners and leaders. To help them achieve this goal, we provide the resources and support they need to succeed.
Responding to the growing number of English language learners, the center strives to increase the number of bilingual and ESL teachers in Texas. It prepares teachers to work with linguistically diverse student populations and provides technical support to school districts.
