Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications for students seeking a master’s degree:
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
- Meet GRE scores required for admission to the Graduate School
- Take a minimum of six (6) hours per semester, including summers
- Interest to learn or refine Spanish traveling to a Spanish-speaking country (4 weeks—summer).

Application Procedure
The Center for Bilingual Education/ELS Education is taking applications for scholarships to prepare bilingual teachers. The program is to be funded by the UTA Highly Qualified Bilingual Teachers and Administrators Program (UTA-BTAP). PURPOSE: To prepare bilingual education teacher candidates.
