Eligibility

• Unconditionally admitted to an undergraduate or graduate degree or certification program in the College of Education and Health Professions seeking initial teacher certification.
• Currently enrolled in or have completed the student teaching semester during the current academic year.
• Currently enrolled in one or more courses offered through the College of Education and Health Professions.
• Demonstrated financial need. Provide explanation.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 at UT Arlington.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in declared major at UT Arlington.
• Attendance at Academic Excellence Award Ceremony.

Application Procedure

Download the application and scholarship recommendation forms, complete them as appropriate, save them, and follow instructions for submission electronically via e-mail.

The application is a standard form used for nine scholarships. Please submit only ONE application if you plan to apply for one or more of the following scholarships:
