We are proud to offer masters degrees in educational leadership and policy studies with options in the principalship, dual language administration, higher education administration and K-12 teacher leadership. We also offer post-masters school administration certificate programs in the K-12 principalship and the school district superintendency. Funding Available for Student TravelThe Office of Graduate Studies has funds available to support graduate students presenting the results of their research at professional meetings in AY 2011-12. The 2011-12 allotment for the College of Education and Health Professions has been awarded and is available for qualified Doctoral and Master's students on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in using these funds to support your research travels, please contact staff academic advisor, Paige Corder, at paigec@uta.edu. All paperwork must be filed by August 15, 2012.The guidelines for qualifying for financial support are as follows: 1. Student must be in good academic standing. 2. Student must be in a degreed graduate program and not currently on Leave of Absence. 3. U.S. funding maximum is $250.00. (Includes Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.). Foreign funding maximum is $500.00. (Includes Hawaii.) 4. Student must be traveling to a conference to make an oral presentation of an original research paper or a poster presentation. Workshops are excluded. 5. Student may travel during summer or semester breaks. 6. Student may not travel after graduation. 7. Special and certificate students are not eligible. 8. One trip per student for the 2011-12 school year. The degree is designed
for candidates who seek to enter careers in research, institutional assessment,
policy analysis, positions of leadership, or the professoriate.
