In order to obtain these certifications you must first have a valid Texas teaching certificate. Click on the certification you are
interested in to view the coursework required for that program, as well as other helpful information.

Master of Education - Curriculum and Instruction

The open option allows students to choose an area of focus in consultation with their program director. The Literacy Studies
options allow students to pursue a specialized certification area in Literacy Studies. Click on the program/certification you are
interested in to view the coursework required for that program, as well as other helpful information.

The following degree plans are for Arlington ISD teachers only:

	M.Ed. with ESL and Master Reading Teacher
	M.Ed. with Bilingual and Master Reading Teacher
