Core Requirement: Research (9 credit hours, courses must be taken in sequence)

EDUC 5394 Understanding Classroom Research
EDUC 5395 The Research Process
EDUC 5397 Dissemination of Classroom Action Research Study (taken in last long semester)

Focus Area (18 credit hours): Six courses chosen which support the candidate's professional
growth, an additional academic discipline or an add-on certificate such as ESL or Bilingual. Prior
approval of the coursework by the program director is required.
