This program is available to those seeking Principal Certification in K-12 schools who already have teacher certification and a conferred Master’s degree in some discipline. |
This program is available to those seeking Superintendent Certification who already have principal certification and a conferred Master’s degree in some discipline. |

of Education has three areas of emphasis. Click on the program to view the

This is the ‘traditional’ program that leads to Principal Certification in K-12 schools. Students who do not already hold a Master’s degree must pursue the M.Ed. as opposed to the certification-only program. |
This is a specialized Principal Certification program. As many schools transition to Spanish immersion and dual language programs, the need for administrators knowledgeable about the special needs of these programs increases. Ability to speak Spanish not required. |
This degree option does not carry any certification for primary and secondary educational settings. Instead it is designed for individuals who work in higher education and wish to enhance their administrative skills and abilities at the college and university level. |
