Education professor receives Academic Partnerships research grant

WTNZ/FOX 43 (Knoxville, Tenn.) reported the first research grant recipients from the Faculty eCommons' Research Grant Program, funded through Academic Partnerships. The program aims to support faculty research on online learning. Dr. Joohi Lee, assistant professor of education, was one of 26 recipients awarded.

Worldwide communications giant AT&T has awarded a $300,000 gift to The University of Texas at Arlington to strengthen its high school-based college readiness offices called GO Centers.
