The faculty of the College of Education and Health Professions seek out the untested boundaries of knowledge. Their research covers a variety of important topics, from educating across cultural divides to improving student retention to improving quality of life for seniors.
In 2010 the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching awarded UT Arlington one of its Carnegie Community Engagement Elective Classifications. This national award honors the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources between institutions of higher education and their local and larger communities.
