This is in reference to the Reading score requirement on the THEA. As of Fall 2013, you must receive a 270+ on the Reading portion of the THEA, instead of the 260+ of past years. If you have any questions regarding your status, do not hesitate to contact an education advisor.

Community College Articulation Agreements
Earning a four-year degree has been made more efficient for students in Tarrant,
Dallas, Collin, Johnson and Hill counties
as a result of articulation agreements
between the College of Education and Health Professions and several local
community colleges.
Students
who enter a community college, particularly Educator Preparation Programs, may
complete an associate's or AAT degrees
while earning university credit toward a
bachelor's degree and teacher certification at UT Arlington.
