Meetings, Events, Deadlines Spring 2012

• January 30th- February 17th

             Spring 2012 KDP membership applications - you may begin turning in applications and dues starting Tuesday, January 31st (don't forget to e-mail Teaira for GPA eligibility before applying)!
             Special Notes: applications and dues (checks, money orders, exact change, if applicable) are due by 4:00 p.m. CST on February 17th.  (501 Carlisle Hall)

• February 17th - March 1st 

            RSVPs for Initiation & Recognition Ceremony- Students who meet requirements may begin submitting (electronically) RSVP forms for the Spring 2012  initiation and recognition ceremony.
            Special Notes: RSVP forms are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on March 1st.  Initiation Form will be up beginning February 17th.  Check back on that date.

            Guest Speakers: Carmelynn Bragiel, Director of Special Education and Rebecca Anderson, Special Education Teacher (both of Mansfield ISD)

            Spring 2012 New Member Initiation & Recognition Ceremony- Current and New Initiates are invited to the ceremony.  Please be sure you've submitted your RSVP by March 1st.

            Location: Rio Grande A, E.H. Hereford University Center

            6th Annual "Bowling for Education"
            Time: 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
            Special Notes: Benefiting the education of patients in Cook Children's Hospital

            Meeting and 1st Meeting- Co-sponsored w/ UTeach's M & M's.

            Guest Speaker: Michelle Fabel of the Newcomer Center of Arlington ISD
            Topic: Interactive Foldables
            Special Notes: You will need colored paper and scissors. (Paper will be provided, but we will have a limited supply of scissors)

• Saturday, November 19th - 2:00-5:00 p.m.

            Cars for Cooks 2011- Students who have turned in applications, dues, and RSVP forms will attend an official initiation.
            Location: Parking Lot 49 in between Doug Russell St. and Mitchell, intersecting Cooper St.
