Undergraduate Advising

Fall Clearance Orientation (4-8 & EC-6 only)

This orientation is only required for EC-6 and Mid-Level students entering the Education program in the Fall cohort. They are offered March-August of the year students plan to begin the program.

EC-6 and Mid-Level students must meet GPA (3.0) and THEA (Reading- 270, Writing- 220, Math- 230) admission requirements before registering and attending this orientation.

If you are a Secondary (7th-12th grade) or All-Level (EC-12th) student you do not need to attend this orientation.

THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REGISTER FOR THIS ORIENTATION:

  • Freshmen students
  • Secondary or All-Level students
  • EC-6 or Mid-Level student who have never met with an education advisor
  • EC-6 or Mid-Level students who don't meet GPA and THEA requirements

NOTICE: The deadline to sign up for the last clearance orientation has passed.  If you have met all admission requirements for the program but missed the deadline, please email your assigned education advisor.
