This orientation is only required for EC-6 and Mid-Level students entering the Education program in Fall 2012.

Do you currently meet both GPA and THEA requirements?

    If you do, you may register for an orientation. After the orientation you will be cleared to register for Education courses.

    If you do not meet GPA and/or THEA requirements at this time, please wait to register for an orientation after you meet both
    requirements. In the meantime, you can submit a clearance request form to have your Academic Department holds removed
    so you can register for core/content courses. If you're unsure of your academic standing, you can call 817-272-2956 to
    schedule an advising appointment.

NOTE: This orientation is ONLY for Education majors who meet requirements!  If you have never met with an Education advisor, do not sign up for this orientation.  Contact an advisor first.

      Deadline: Wednesday, May 30th  (5:00 p.m.)

Orientations will be held from March - August. New dates will be added every few weeks.


Most orientation sessions will be held on the 3rd Floor of  Science Hall.
The orientation will take about 30-45 minutes.
You only need to bring a pen.
