The UTA chapter of the American Advertising Federation will host the group's introductory meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. The meeting will be held in room 414 of the Fine Arts building. All students interested in advertising are welcome to attend and join the organization.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the American Advertising Federation (AAF) acts as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising.” AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry. UTA's student chapter is one of more than 200 college chapters nationwide.
The organization connects students with advertising professionals in corporate America, offers internship and workshop activities and a chance to meet other UTA advertising students.
