Census day Monday; last day to add

Posted 9-7-2012 by Barrie Hill

Monday, Sept. 9 is Census Day. This marks the absolute last day to add a class for Fall 2012 semester, however, adding classes after late registration is not recommended.
Students MUST meet with undergraduate academic advisors to understand the impact of their enrollment action as well as the specific procedures required to add a class after the late registration period ends.

Adding after late registration requires the permission of the faculty teaching the course, permission of the academic department offering the course, and the final approval of the undergraduate academic advisor of the student’s major department. The student's major academic advisor has final decision authority and may supersede the decision of the instructor.

Please check your schedules in MyMav and make sure you are in the correct classes and that your final schedule is correct. If you have additional questions, please visit the advising office in Room 126. The Department of Communication Advising office is open for walk-in advising Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays by appointment or special issues.
