The Department of Communication prides itself on preparing students for careers in Advertising, Broadcast, Communication Studies, Communication Technology, Journalism and Public Relations. 

Each semester, students land coveted internships in their majors which often lead to job offers upon graduation. Departmental alum keep in touch with the department and share job and career opportunities with faculty and current students. Congratulations to recent graduates on career milestones.

Kevan Gerabagi, Dec 2014 CTEC graduate, was hired as a QA Analyst at Santander Consumer USA.

May 2014 CTEC grad Chris Thipavong is now an Inside Software Service Specialist at Omnitracs, a mobile technology company.

Dec 2013 BCMN grad Allie Woldtvedt spent her holiday break moving from Joplin, Mo to take on a new position as morning anchor at KMTR NewsSource 16 in Eugene, Oregon. Allie Warren, as she is known on camera, started her new anchor gig on Dec. 23. Allie is pictured on set with co-anchor Joel Porter.
