UTA Radio has been named a finalist for a Radio Mercury Award for a student-created Public Service Announcement. The annual award is sponsored by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and is considered one of the premiere creative competitions in the radio industry.
The PSA was produced by broadcast students, Trey Carson and Jillian Dennis, students in Broadcast Lecturer Lance Liguez's Summer II Radio Production class.
The winners for the Mercury will announced in New York City on Oct. 4.
