About the Lectures

The UTA Athletic Training Program hosts two lecture series:

The Sports Medicine Lecture Series is a student-planned and led speaker series that presents topics under the broader scope of Sports Medicine in general, which may include techniques, the state of the industry, the state of practice in various employment settings, transition to practice, rehabilitative techniques, and so on.

The Medical Director Lecture Series occurs in the spring semester and is presented by the University of Texas Arlington MSAT Medical Director, Damond Blueitt, MD. The series focuses on current clinical issues in the field of sports medicine.
