Once all materials have been submitted, Departmental faculty will make an admission decision. Admittance to the Kinesiology PhD program is contingent on an approved faculty member agreeing to serve as the student's research mentor. Due to the limited number of seats available in the PhD program, some application years may be competitive. Students who are admitted into the program will work with their faculty mentor(s) to work out their course of study and official program plan.
