Your UTA issued MAVS email address is the primary official means by which the University communicates with you: this includes your advisors, your instructors, your classmates, and the various offices of UTA. Official notifications and information will come to you via your UTA MAVS email account.
Check your UTA email daily. Students are discouraged from using non-UTA email addresses to communicate with the University concerning university business, academic or otherwise.
