RN-MSN Elective Options

Upper Division Elective Options

The RN to MSN fast-track program requires two graduate level electives.  These electives will satisfy 6 credit hours of BSN and MSN degree requirements.

Students are required to complete NURSG 5327, Exploration of Science and Theories for Nursing, and NURSG 5366, Principles of Research in Nursing.

Graduate electives are taken immediately preceding Capstone, NURSU 4685, the final course in the BSN portion of the program. Capstone can be taken alongside ONE graduate elective, however, due to the rigor of these graduate level courses, it is recommended that students take these courses one at a time.

Students will start the MSN portion of the program the following semester after completion of the MSN electives and Capstone.
