B. National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program

This program offers $10,000 scholarships to juniors, seniors and post-bac students seeking teacher certification for math and science at the secondary level. In addition, freshmen and sophomores can apply for $2,250 summer internships. Follow the link below for more information about the program.

Program Description

D. Graduate Certificates for Science and Math Teachers

The Department of Mathematics has created a Graduate Certificate Program in Mathematics Education.  The purpose of this certificate program is to provide mathematics teaching professionals with graduate instruction as a means of maintaining and promoting their professional development.  The certificate provides a post-baccalaureate educational opportunity to teachers that is narrower in scope, and shorter in duration, than its associated graduate degree program.
