A: Yes, campers must stay overnight.
Q: Does a camper need to stay for the duration of the camp?
A: Yes, campers must stay for the entire camp.
Q: This year's TAKS math and science scores aren't back yet. Can I send last year's scores?
A: Yes.
Q: When will campers be notified if they have been selected?
A: Notices will be mailed by May 16.
Q: How many counselor's will there be?
A: There will be a minimum of one counselor for every six campers during the daytime activities and nighttime
activities. The counselor shifts will overlap around dinner time, and this ratio does not count instructors or camp directors.
Q: Is the June 28 orientation event optional?
A: No, it is mandatory for the student and at least one parent or guardian.
Q: What will the mix be of 6trh vs. 7th vs. 8th graders be? How about boys vs. girls?
A: The campers will be as close as possible to one third 6th graders, one third 7th graders and one third 8th
graders. An equal number of boys and girls from each grade will be selected.
Q: How much is tuition for the camp?
A: The camp is free, including housing and meals. Linens (sheets, blankets and towels) for the dorm rooms
will not be provided.
