Christopher Copeland, M.A.

Visiting Assistant Professor

Chris is a native of Arlington and an alumnus of UTA having completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in the Criminology and Criminal Justice department. He has spent over nineteen years in the field of information technology working and consulting for companies including American Airlines, Sabre, EDS, National Checking, Vertis Communications, and subsidiaries Berkshire Hathaway. In addition he has several professional industry certifications. With a specialization in technology, his research interests include computer crime, digital forensics, security, and the application of technology in law enforcement and corrections. He is currently pursuing a DSc in Information Assurance at Dakota State University, a NSA recognized program.
