Rhonda Dobbs, Ph.D.

Rhonda Dobbs is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.S. in Sociology at Virginia Tech. She received her Ph.D. from the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University. Her dissertation examined sentencing outcomes for men and women in the context of both indeterminate and determinate sentencing systems in Florida. In addition to teaching criminology courses at FSU, she has also worked as a research associate for the Florida Department of Corrections.
