Kristy Smith is a visiting assistant professor with the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She received her M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009. She has over 18 years experience in the field of criminal justice: first, as a Court Administrator for Judge Phil Sorrells in Tarrant County, and recently as the Court Operations Manager for the Dallas County Clerkâs office.
