About Us

WHO WE ARE

The Center for Students in Recovery (CSR) supports students recovering from various types of addictions or life experiences. Students involved with the CSR vary greatly in terms of age, interests, and stage of recovery. To join the CSR, a student must be admitted to The University of Texas at Arlington and committed to living a life in recovery, clean and sober. Membership is free. We offer programming, resources, and activities that provide a pathway to both recovery and academic achievement.

Our goal is to help students in recovery to develop a sense of community that will support them to stay in recovery!

mavspiration: csr STUDENT Organization

MAVSpiration is focused on inspiring Mavericks to create a safe place to talk about recovery, raise awareness, and to help promote wellness through community activites. If you have questions regarding the organization, please contact our Graduate Intern, Tori Contreras, at tori.contreras@uta.edu.
