About Us

Who We Are

The Center for Students in Recovery (CSR) supports students recovering from various types of addictions or life experiences. Students involved with the CSR vary greatly in terms of age, interests, and stage of recovery. To join the CSR, a student must be admitted to The University of Texas at Arlington and committed to living a life in recovery, clean and sober. Membership is free. We offer programming, resources, and activities that provide a pathway to both recovery and academic achievement.

Our goal is to help students in recovery to develop a sense of community that will support them to stay in recovery!

STUDENTS FOR RECOVERY

Are you looking for students who share your interests?  Join Students for Recovery (SFR), a student organization sponsored by the Center for Students in Recovery (CSR), for their biweekly meetings.  The meetings are a great opportunity to spend time other students and just hang out.  SFR hosts a variety of sober activities for their members and participate in UT Arlington events like Homecoming.
