Demarice Dumerer currently serves as the Associate Director for the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD). She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and has worked for the State of Texas as well as in private industry assisting persons with disabilities with return to work issues. Demarice has been involved in the field of rehabilitation, education and counseling since 1995 with experiences ranging from transition and vocational counseling, job placement, workplace accommodations and community advocacy. She also has 6 years of experience as a human resource manager where focus was placed on interviewing, hiring and development of staff. Areas of interest were labor relations, workers compensation, workplace accommodation and return to work issues.

Her education includes the following:

• BA in Psychology from the University of North Texas, 1993
• MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas, 1995
