Finding Online Courses in the Schedule of Classes

Here’s how to find online courses in the MyMav Schedule of Classes. Make sure to check the list of Online Core Courses for current online core course offerings.

When you go to the Schedule of Classes you’ll see the screen Enter Search Criteria. To find the 4-letter Course Subject, click the green “select subject” button. If you know the 4-letter Course Subject and the Course Number, proceed to Step 3.

To find the 4-letter Course Subject, click the button on the alphabet row that is the first letter of the subject.

Find the subject in the results list. Click on the green “select” button for that subject. This will automatically fill in the Course Subject field in the Search form.

In the Class Search Criteria block, enter the 4-letter Course Subject.

Enter the Course Numberr.

In the Course Career drop-down menu, select “Undergraduate.”

Click Additional Search Criteria to expand the menu.

For Mode of Instruction, select “Internet.” For Campus, select “Off Campus.

In the list of search results, you can click on a Section Number to see information about that course session.

Read the Enrollment Information section for the course to note any approvals and required prerequisites. In Class Attributes, see whether the course section you’re looking at is for In State or Out of State students, and choose the appropriate section number for your residential status.
