Maverick Promise
The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Promise financial aid program has taken a significant step toward making higher education more affordable by granting free tuition to Pell Grant eligible students whose household income is $65,000 or less. Full Story >

Scholarships Offered
The Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference awards ten $2000 scholarships that can be applied towards attending a four year accredited college or university, to assist selected students with tuition, fees, books, and to assist with on-campus room and board. The scholarship is only open to students that will be full-time traditional college freshman entering a four year college or university for the first time in the 2009-2010 school year.
