ETSS Staff

Crystal Livingston
Director of Educational Technology Support Services

I have worked at UT Arlington long enough to see the campus through many technology changes and growth spurts. Today’s technology is fluid and constantly changing. Bigger, better, brighter, smarter, more functionality, it’s endless and exciting! Trying to keep up is a real challenge. When I first came to work here in 1986 the high tech gadget for visual teaching aids was the slide projector, especially if it would sync with an audio tape! PCs, Data projectors and document cameras have replaced all of the old projection devices. Content can be displayed in the classroom from just about anything that outputs a video signal. I’ve been working in the University’s classrooms for 26 years and I’m proud to be part of the ongoing process of redefining technology in our classrooms.
