Areas of Expertise

Power system transient stability analysis,power system dynamic stability analysis and control, power system load flow analysis, power system operations, numerical methods in power system simulations, low voltage surge protection, and power electronics.

Background

Dr. Lee is conducting research at the Energy Systems Research Center, UT Arlington. He has been involved in research on the power system phenomena under steady state, stressed, and emergency conditions and the advanced microcomputer-based equipment for power system monitoring, measurement, protection, and control. He is also involved in the design and development of a new power system simulation laboratory.
