Piampoom Sarikprueck (S'10) received the B.Eng and M.Eng. degrees from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Bangkok, Thailand in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Since 2005, he has been a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department at KMITL. Currently, he is on sabbatical leave as a Ph.D student in the Energy Systems Research Center at the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas USA. His research areas of interest include energy conversion, rotating electric machines, power systems, renewable energy technologies, plug in hybrid electric vehicle infrastructure, energy and market price forecasting.
