Juddy Pollard selected to be Teacher at Sea and Patty Holyfield Award
"I got selected to be the Teacher at Sea on the JOIDES Resolution drilling ship in November. We're going to be drilling continental shelf cores off the coast of New Zealand for 8 weeks, looking for depositional evidence of change in ancient sea level.
I also was awarded the Patty Holyfield Award for Excellence in Geoscience Teaching from the Ellison Miles Geotechnical Inst. and Dallas Geological Society.
Thanks for the good foundation UTA provided me so that I can pursue these opportunities!"
