It is the policy of UT Arlington to provide students, faculty, staff,

environmental quality by the proper engineering of facilities,
following laws and appropriate procedures, receiving education and
training, using equipment properly and safely, and observing safety
rules. The EH&S Office helps accomplish these goals by:

Developing and implementing safety and environmental protection
policies, programs, and procedures;

Providing training and guidance in areas of
chemical/biological/radiological safety, fire safety, general safety,
and defensive driving;

Managing hazardous waste disposal, waste recycling, Material Safety
Data Sheets (MSDSs), and worker's compensation insurance.
