Dallas architect and UTA alumnus Tyler Murph’s work “The Reading Room” is one of three winners of the 2015 Life of an Architect Playhouse Design Competition, Life of an Architect reported. The judging panel, including several kids, appreciated the house’s feel of a miniature library. Now in its fourth year, the competition benefits Dallas CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, a nonprofit organization of community volunteers trained to serve as voices for abused or neglected children. Murph earned his bachelor of science in architecture from UT Arlington in 1999.
